This Privacy Policy describes how Viaskai ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you access the Viaskai platform and related services at viaskai.com.

Information We Collect

Information you provide directly. When you register, request a demo, contact us, or apply to the Skai Pilot Network, we collect details you submit — including your name, email address, phone number, company name, billing information, business profile information, platform-generated reports and annotations, and any files you upload (e.g., certifications or resumes).

Automatically collected information. We collect standard technical data when you visit the site, including device and browser information, usage data and interaction logs, IP-based general location, and system performance and error logs. This data is collected through Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager).

Google API Services and User Data

Viaskai uses Google OAuth 2.0 (via OpenID Connect) to allow users to sign in with their Google account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data accessed from Google. When you sign in with Google, we request access to the following:

  • Email address — to identify your account and send service-related communications
  • Name (first and last) — to personalize your account profile within the platform
  • Profile picture (avatar) — displayed within the platform to personalize your account
  • Google account ID (OpenID sub claim) — used as a stable unique identifier to link your Google identity to your Viaskai account

How we use Google user data. Google user data is used exclusively for authentication, account creation and association, and profile display within the platform. We do not use Google user data for advertising, marketing profiling, tracking across third-party websites, or any purpose beyond operating and improving the authentication experience within Viaskai.

How we store Google user data. We store your email address, name, profile picture URL, and Google account ID in our secure database solely to maintain your account record. We do not store Google OAuth access tokens, refresh tokens, or any credentials that would allow ongoing access to your Google account beyond the initial sign-in. All stored data is protected using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.

Sharing of Google user data. We do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to operate the platform (e.g., cloud infrastructure hosting) or as required by law. Google user data is never shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or any party for purposes unrelated to providing the Viaskai service.

Revoking Google access. You may revoke Viaskai's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account Permissions page. Revoking access will not delete your Viaskai account or the data you have created within the platform. To request deletion of your account data, contact us at support@viaskai.com.

Microsoft Identity Platform and User Data

Viaskai integrates with the Microsoft Identity Platform (Azure Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID) to allow users to connect their Microsoft or Office 365 account for email sending. Our use of Microsoft user data complies with the Microsoft APIs Terms of Use and the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Data accessed from Microsoft. When you connect a Microsoft account to Viaskai, we request the following permissions:

  • Sign in and read user profile — your name, email address, and Microsoft account ID are used to identify and display your connected mailbox within the platform
  • Send mail as you (Mail.Send) — used to send outbound emails and campaign messages through your connected Microsoft or Office 365 mailbox on your behalf
  • Maintain access (offline_access) — a refresh token is stored to allow Viaskai to send email on your behalf without requiring you to re-authenticate each time

How we use Microsoft user data. Microsoft user data is used only for authentication and account linking, and for email delivery through your connected mailbox as instructed by you within the platform. We do not use Microsoft user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the connected mailbox feature you have explicitly enabled.

How we store Microsoft user data. Your name and email address are stored in our secure database to display your connected inbox within the platform. A Microsoft OAuth refresh token is stored in encrypted form to maintain your connected mailbox without requiring repeated sign-ins. No email content, calendar data, contacts, or other mailbox data is read, stored, or processed beyond what is necessary to send emails you initiate through Viaskai.

Sharing of Microsoft user data. We do not sell, rent, or share Microsoft user data with third parties. Microsoft account credentials and tokens are never shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or any party unrelated to operating the Viaskai email sending feature.

Revoking Microsoft access. You may disconnect your Microsoft account at any time within the Viaskai platform settings, or revoke access directly through your Microsoft account app permissions. Disconnecting will immediately remove Viaskai's ability to send email through your Microsoft mailbox.

Aerial Imagery and Structural Data

The Viaskai platform utilizes aerial imagery and related datasets for exterior structural evaluation and property condition analysis. Imagery is processed into structured analytical outputs including roof measurements, condition reports, and damage classifications.

Imagery and derived datasets are used to support professional property inspection, infrastructure analysis, and related business activities. Aerial imagery and derived datasets are retained consistent with operational, analytical, and compliance requirements.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the platform and services
  • Generate structural analytics and reports
  • Respond to inquiries and deliver requested services
  • Process demo requests and schedule calls
  • Review and manage Pilot Network applications
  • Process payments
  • Send transactional emails related to your inquiry, account, or application
  • Improve platform functionality and enhance analytics models
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. Aggregated or anonymized data may be used to improve analytics systems.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with a limited set of trusted service providers who help us operate the platform:

  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Apollo.io — CRM contact management
  • Google Cloud Platform — file storage (GCS) and data processing (BigQuery)
  • Cal.com — demo scheduling embeds
  • Vercel — site hosting and edge infrastructure
  • Google Analytics — aggregated site analytics via GTM
  • Payment processors — for billing and subscription management
  • Mapping and analytics providers — for aerial imagery and structural analysis

Each provider is bound by data processing agreements and receives only the data necessary for their function. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Viaskai, our users, or the public.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to analyze site traffic and improve your experience. Google Analytics cookies are loaded through Google Tag Manager and operate on an anonymized basis. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard safeguards including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, secure authentication, and controlled infrastructure environments. No system is completely secure; if you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately.

Data Retention

We retain information as necessary to provide services and comply with legal and business obligations. Pilot Network application data — including uploaded files — is retained for the duration of the pilot program and up to 12 months after program completion unless you request earlier deletion. Aerial imagery and derived datasets are retained consistent with operational, analytical, and compliance requirements.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing, or to receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@viaskai.com. We will respond within 30 days. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.

Children's Privacy

The Viaskai platform is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email, and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised accordingly. Continued use of our site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
